Balloon Juice coined the term. And today we have achieved Peak Wingnut. The awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to President Obama has finally and totally driven all conservatives completely insane. It is a pleasure to watch the self immolation.

Actually I don’t think there is a such thing as peak wingnut. They seem to possess a perpetual outrage machine that cranks out new wingnuts on a regular basis and keeps the older wingnuts hot and bothered.
