DSCC Says Beau Biden Is In Senate Race

From a tip from Political Observer:
The DSCC says the Beau Biden will run for Senate.
Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Chairman Robert Menendez of New Jersey said Thursday he fully expects Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden to run next year for the seat now held by Democratic Sen. [Ted Kaufman]
The game is starting! Beau Biden’s entry ensures that this will be a closely watched Senate race, even if Castle doesn’t enter.

I just hope Beau doesn’t show up somewhere to salute and say “reporting for duty”

Ugh…this sickens me.

I don’t know if we can believe anything a Democrat from Jersey says.

Your headline was misleading… It implied Beau was running… no doubt he will be surprised to find it our here, since he has not yet given the race the serious thought it deserves.
Unfortunately, one person saying something does not make news. It manipulates news.
We have way too much of that already…. and we pride ourselves on being better than that …
just re-stating our values….

I don’t see how the headline is misleading. It says the DSCC says Beau is in, and that’s what they said. When Beau officially announces, we’ll say it.

Beau has been a disappointing AG. He has not demonstrated any qualities that remotely suggests he’s US Senate material. His current elected post is a huge disappointment. Unless you count smiling and handshaking as leadership qualities, Beau has a lot of work to do before I’ll even consider voting for him. In a primary with someone with no political experience, I’d vote for an unknown, poorly funded candidate with a passion for service before I’d vote for Beau.

I agree with my BFF Mike Matthews.

Despite being a hard D, I like the idea of handing off to Castle for the last four of Joe’s term, getting Carney in as Rep. and bringing Beau along when Castle comes up for re-election.
Beau has not done the job of AG and I think we (D’s)are vulnerable if we put him up now. Yes, the active duty thing can be spun pretty well, but I think the R’s can portray him as opportunistic and unproven in any job.
I think this is one time money and name recognition can be re-spun in a David & Goliath kind of a way with the right, bright young R who can substantiate him/herself as a moderate.

When mini-”Joe” did his imitation of Pontius Pilate after the Wilmington PD tasered (7 times) and then shot (3 times) the unarmed Iraq war veteran Derek Hale, I knew everything i’d needed to know about mini-Joe’s character.

I agree with kavips and Mike Matthews.
It’s a vague “expectation” at best, and.. it turns the stomach.
Please, God, make the DEGOP take out Christine O’Loser and put up a contender. Someone with a fighting chance. With a brain of their own, please.
Amen.
