Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) gave a speech in the House that got the Republicans in a tizzy, because he’s so mean!

Republicans are predictably and tiresomely fuming over Rep. Alan Grayson’s remark yesterday that “Republicans want you to die quickly,” and with Rep. Jimmy Duncan (R-TN) declaring:

“That is about the most mean-spirited partisan statement that I’ve ever heard made on this floor, and I, for one, don’t appreciate it.”

Oh my, I think someone’s getting the vapors! The Republicans even drafted a resolution because Grayson hurt their feelings. Grayson offered an apology, but it wasn’t quite what Republicans were expecting: Grayson apologizes to the dead.

    Loved this!

    Just loved this.

Now — what “journalist” is going to point out that the repubs just spent the last two months or so scaring people with “death panels” and accusing the President of wanting to kill your grandmother.

Eye rolling would be a nice touch, I’m thinking.
