I Think There’s A Lot More Of This Republican Congressional Birther Support Then We Realize

Rep. Jean Schmidt her “Birther” street cred.

Does she really believe this, or is she simply intimidated by her own base?  Either way this has gotten completely out of hand.

A point always worth noting: it is easier to face one’s opponent, than one’s fan base.

    Always.

  2. Where are the calls for her resignation? Seriously, if Van Jones has to be run out of the administration for once signing a petition shouldn’t conspiracy theorists of the other party be held to the same standards. And yes, I know they won’t because IOKIYAR.

  3. all things in moderation says:

looks like a judge in California has set a court date (January) to hear evidence on the “Birther” thing.

so enjoy it while you can, the contreversy will be dead by spring.

  4. Delaware Dem says:

There is no contorversy in the real world. It only exists in the delusions of the Birthers.

Second, it DOES. NOT. MATTER. how many courts rule that these allegations are totally fabricated, nonesense and lies. To the Birthers, all that proves is that Judge and Jury are part of the VAST conspiracy. The Birther conspiracy will live on in the minds of the Birthers forever.

  5. all things in moderation says:

    DD,
no court has ruled on the allegation.

you may be correct that the notion will live on after a court verdict.

I believe that once the original documents (birth cert, hosp delivery records, passport records) are reviewed by the court, become public record and are found to confirm that BHO is a Natural Born Citizen, the furor will die away.

  6. pandora says:

Sorry, ATIM, but facts don’t matter to these people. They are convinced they are correct, and all the facts in the world will only result in cries of conspiracy. Have you talked with a birther recently? They are rabid… and scary.

  7. wikwox says:

There is no furor, the real story is that an elected representative is dumb enough to support the Birther stupidity. She never meant to be overheard, but she was, what a jerk.
On a lighter note: What’s happened to the Queen of the Birthers Orly Taitz? Recalled to Moldavia, trapped in an Israeli Kibbutz?
Or just praying no one spots her after her famed T.V. meltdown.
