Comment by Unstable Isotope on 18 August 2009 at 9:11 am:
You’re on now, I’m getting about 50% of what you’re saying. Stupid work internet.

How many times will Jason out GEEK in this show?
We are up to two or three right now (I missed the first ten minutes).
I’m waiting for Jason to be banned and removed from the contributor-roll.
Comment by Unstable Isotope on 18 August 2009 at 10:02 am:
Good point, Smitty. Ban him!!!
Ask the government-run guy if he’s willing to give up Medicare and Social Security. I’m still picking up only about 50% of the words, stupid work internet.
Comment by RSmitty Blew Out His Flip-Flop (seriously) But Not On a Pop-Top (apologies to Jimmy Buffett) on 18 August 2009 at 10:06 am:
UI…try the URL provided by anon in the above comments. Works great for me, whereas I always had a problem with the feed from DEL’s website.
Good point, Smitty. Ban him!!!
Sweet! I’m on it! Wait, I can’t. Damn it!!!
Comment by MJ on 18 August 2009 at 10:06 am:
work is blocking the feed. Drat!
Comment by RSmitty Blew Out His Flip-Flop (seriously) But Not On a Pop-Top (apologies to Jimmy Buffett) on 18 August 2009 at 10:07 am:
MJ – same thing I said to UI…give that url provided by anon a try. Back when DTR was operating, I couldn’t use their site-provided-link, but they provided me a direct URL that did work.
Comment by flumet on 18 August 2009 at 10:09 am:
And DV gives a second rinse! Sounds more like an enema.
Comment by Unstable Isotope on 18 August 2009 at 10:10 am:
It’s still not good Smitty. It’s my work internet.
Comment by Unstable Isotope on 18 August 2009 at 10:11 am:

Dang, I missing Donviti talking about Protack.
Oh, he simply invited everyone to come to DL and look at the library of comments left by MP, the “leader of the Republican Party.” That is what you missed.
Comment by anon on 18 August 2009 at 10:18 am:

Best choice: No idols
Second best choice: Paul Wellstone
Comment by anon on 18 August 2009 at 10:19 am:

awesome, Jason hung up on someone!!!
Comment by anon on 18 August 2009 at 10:23 am:
Well, normally I would want to hear them out in all their insanity, but if they are speaking in run-on sentences and can’t complete a thought that’s another matter.
Comment by Rweme on 18 August 2009 at 10:29 am:
Love the NASCAR hate!
Comment by Dale Earnhardt Jr #88 on 18 August 2009 at 10:30 am:

Last, Fuck You!
YYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAW!
Jason – you pussy!

“Al”
How many times did he call you BOTH that? Reminds me of ol’ grandpa from John Stewart’s show on MTV (a loooong time ago), “My pants are made of cheese!”
Comment by Unstable Isotope on 18 August 2009 at 10:32 am:
Ummm…colored people?

DV/DCB use the link from anon way above (9:12AM) instead of the website link. Much…MUCH better.
Comment by Delaware's Coolest Blogger on 18 August 2009 at 10:39 am:
woohooo,
How do you 2 guys not take a swing at that old dude that said “Colored People” pussy
Comment by RSmitty Blew Out His Flip-Flop (seriously) But Not On a Pop-Top (apologies to Jimmy Buffett) on 18 August 2009 at 10:42 am:
How in the eff did I miss that comment? Was that the guy who kept calling them “Al” and thought that all the environmental ills were at the feet of NASCAR?
Comment by Delaware's Coolest Blogger on 18 August 2009 at 10:44 am:
yes, “There ain’t no colored people drivers in nascar” or something like that
Comment by RSmitty Blew Out His Flip-Flop (seriously) But Not On a Pop-Top (apologies to Jimmy Buffett) on 18 August 2009 at 11:01 am:
Oh sweet! Mikey P! Tell him I said “hi!”

Comment by Unstable Isotope on 18 August 2009 at 11:12 am:
Did he just diss the military?
Comment by RSmitty Blew Out His Flip-Flop (seriously) But Not On a Pop-Top (apologies to Jimmy Buffett) on 18 August 2009 at 11:12 am:
Jason gave Protack props. He also has Rags (his dog) wearing a Michael Vick dog-jersey. That should tell you all you need to know.
Comment by RSmitty Blew Out His Flip-Flop (seriously) But Not On a Pop-Top (apologies to Jimmy Buffett) on 18 August 2009 at 11:24 am:
That was actually a constructive call with MP. You guys should have him in your party, you get along well and seem to have a lot in common!
Comment by Unstable Isotope on 18 August 2009 at 11:32 am:
How did I sound?
Comment by Unstable Isotope on 18 August 2009 at 11:36 am:
I thought they were pretty nice to Protack, considering. They let him go on unchallenged about how awful the government is. So, did Protack call the military poorly-run?
Comment by Unstable Isotope on 18 August 2009 at 11:37 am:
The problem with state-run systems is generally they are just too small to compete with big insurance companies. Plus, I don’t think you can have state co-ops without tight regulation. Otherwise, it’ll just be like credit card companies. They will incorporate in the state with the least regulation.
Comment by RSmitty Blew Out His Flip-Flop (seriously) But Not On a Pop-Top (apologies to Jimmy Buffett) on 18 August 2009 at 11:38 am:
You sounded good, UI. I was really impressed that Jason managed NOT to out you, unlike he did to Geek two or three times.
I missed MP dissing the military. Maybe it was something said within perspective, so I didn’t translate it the way you did. Not sure, tho.
Comment by Free Radical on 18 August 2009 at 11:39 am:
I thought UI did great. I would have liked more serious questions, but then if I ran a radio show I’d probably put listeners to sleep.

I thought UI did great.
If you said anything else, I think you’d be in imminent danger!!!
Comment by Free Radical on 18 August 2009 at 11:45 am:
RSmitty: that’s correct. Question sources. Follow the money. I’m in the pocket of Big Isotope.

Good show! Now get back to work, slackers! This ain’t no government handout opportunity!
Comment by Unstable Isotope on 18 August 2009 at 12:54 pm:
Smitty,
Protack said there are no government-run institutions that function well. The military is a government-run institution.
Comment by RSmitty Blew Out His Flip-Flop (seriously) But Not On a Pop-Top (apologies to Jimmy Buffett) on 18 August 2009 at 1:25 pm:
Ah, OK, I see what you’re saying, UI. That would actually cause me to think with extra effort, something I’m not doing today (yes, just today).
Comment by Delaware Republican on 18 August 2009 at 1:46 pm:
Good afternoon,
I listened to one half of the show and enjoyed it.
Let me clarify a part of what a few people don’t seem to get. I am not against government as a knee jerk reaction but I am 100%` aware of the limitations of government. The intentions are good initiative but the execution is usually bad headwork. Anything the government seeks to do which could be done by the private sector will cost more, take longer and produce a lesser result.
Now, for the military. There are two parts of the military. The men and women who serve and serve well under tough circumstances. I have no criticism of them at all. I think they deserve better pay, better equipment and top notch leadership.
The second part is the defense establishment which is extremely corrupt and driven by self interest and not national defense for Americans. Weapon systems live beyond their intended purposes but for the profits and cost overruns are SOP.
Mike Protack
