Late Night Video — Ultra Deep Field Images

Simply incredible — this is a 3D look at imaging from the new Hubble camera pointed out at a part of the universe thought to be empty:

    Saw a show where a doctor of whatever was on a beach. She took a heaping handful of sand in both hands and said that if one grain of sand equals a star, what she’s holding was about the amount of stars in our galaxy.

    Immediately after that, she stated that there isn’t nearly enough grains of sand on Earth to represent the number of stars in the Universe.
