Terrell Owens rounding up support for Michael Vick on Twitter
I love this story. Clearly Owens wants someone playing the first six games more hated than Terrell Ownes.
Terrell Owens has taken his campaign for Michael Vick’s immediate reinstatement by the NFL to Twitter.
The Bills receiver, who called commissioner Roger Goodell’streatment of Vick “unfair” on Sunday, said Vick has already received enough punishment for his federal dogfighting conviction and should not be suspended more games by the NFL. (Owens referenced an ESPN report on Thursday saying the league would suspend Vick for four games, which the NFL said was premature.)
Background: I’m an Owens fan. It was loser ass face Andy Reid who messed up Owens tenure in Philly.

Wasn’t Vick re-instated?
Comment by jason330 on 27 July 2009 at 8:54 pm:
Yes but was put on a 6 game suspension. WHICH IS BULLSHIT.
Comment by Mark H on 27 July 2009 at 9:03 pm:
Owens just wants Vick up in Buffalo with him

Yeah, and it was Dick Cheney who messed up Bush’s Presidency.

You’re an Owens fan? I dunno. San Francisco, Philly, and Dallas were all glad to see him go in the end, and now he has gone to where NFL careers go to die: Buffalo.
Comment by jason330 on 27 July 2009 at 9:32 pm:
In San Fran he an Garcia were the league’s most productive combo. In Philly he worked back from an injury to play in the Superbowl and was the one spark on that leaderless team.
All he does is catch passes, break tackles and score touchdowns. What’s not to like.

If he comes here to Houston, I cancel my season tickets with the Texans.
Comment by Rhymes With Right on 27 July 2009 at 9:48 pm:
Jason, some of us believe it should be a 6 decade suspension.
Comment by Mark H on 27 July 2009 at 10:03 pm:
RWR, you call the Texans a football team?
Comment by jason330 on 27 July 2009 at 10:11 pm:
RwR loves dogs and frozen embryo Americans.

Jason has a hard time recognizing self-loving, self-promoting, auto-sexual (seriously, there is a theory) egomaniacs, hence why he still misses himself some TO. That said, how is it you peg Mikey P so easily (toss aside the auto-sexual thing, ‘cuz I just don’t want to think about that), but can’t see that with TO?
I agree with Mark H in the third comment, BTW. Buffalo is done at the 1/4-mark of the season.

I think he knows he has to prove something this year. I see Buffalo in the AFC playoffs (provided they throw him the ball.)

I see Buffalo in the AFC playoffs…
OMG, do you have a “fathead” of TO in your bedroom or something? What does Mrs J think about that?
Dude! AFC playoffs? Really? To quote one of the best meltdowns in football history, I call Jim Mora to the stand:
Having to stack up against NE and now MIA in their own division and then PIT-BAL (same division, so there is one wildcard) and IND-TEN (same division, so there is the other wildcard), you see TO taking Buffalo to what now?
Comment by RSmitty on 27 July 2009 at 10:37 pm:
I just saw this in your comment:
(provided they throw him the ball.)
That’s your disclaimer…your ‘out’ card. As soon as he’s not getting the ball and gets all Keyshawn (“just throw me the damned ball”), you will acknowledge the downfall of Buffalo. Of course, none of it will be your BFF’s fault.
The only time I ever felt bad for TO was on that Superstars show running on ABC right now. Even Protack wouldn’t deserve the partner TO had.

I liked the homage to Jim Mora.
Nice.

Michael Vick is a repulsive thug and his presence in any sport is an insult to decency. I am no ‘PETA-puke’ but those who participate in dog fighting are not fit to be involved in an activity where public praise is offered.
He is a sadist who might best be defined in terms unfit for print or cyberspace.
Comment by Rhymes With Right on 28 July 2009 at 7:53 am:
Well, Mark, they are improving — and haven’t been too bad for a team only in the league since 2002.
And who knows — 2002 might be their year for a playoff run.
(Yeah, before you ask, I did grow up a fan of the Chicago Cubs.)

Vick is sick, but we need to remember the origin of the Fightin’ Blue Hen.
