cassandra is gracious here. However, Wendy's "position" on vaccines is, unfortunately, not a piece of sound reality testing.

So if you guys can confront Polly, I guess I have to do the same

I don't think that Brian needs to apologize, either.

Wendy's apology was probably the best you could expect and props to her for coming over to try to explain her views. This is better -- I'll remind all of the good Democrats here -- than the Democratic candidate who you'd think might be interested in us knowing where she stands.

Hey Jason - I live in that district and I care a lot about who gets elected, but at this point we will just get the same votes as we had before - so no loss there but, .unfortunately, also no win for the liberals. I suppose I can always hope for Booth to win and to win his House seat instead.

Brian - no harm done - I like you a lot better (from what I do know about you) than I do her any day.

Hey, between her choice of words and those of Polly the Cracker this should actually be a hilarious Senate race - why isn't it? darn.

I don't want an apology either. I just notice there's no addressing of the vaccine issue.

Is that really what you consider an apology? (BTW, I didn't ask for one.) Also, there was never a time in this country when "pollack" was PC, but keep digging.

I officially apologize for anyone's feelings that were inadvertantly bruised.

Gwendolyn "Wendy" Jones,
Libertarian Candidate, Sussex Co. Senatorial District 19

Wendy and I differ on SB121. I am more pragmatic. I would personally believe the protections need to be in place.

Not sure on the LPD's stance. We haven't taken an official position, and many are divided. Some want government out of the decision while others believe there is a need for the discrimination protection.

Never thought I would need to have a conversation on vaccination. There is no official LP position. Never thought there needed to be to be quite honest. What Wendy said was purely her opinion and should not reflect on the party as a whole.

If you want to cast a protest vote, why not write in a progressive?

Heck, the progressive write-in doesn't even have to live in the district - the protest still counts, and at least you'd be voting your principles.

The vaccine talk is a deal-breaker. The use of the word Pollack took me completely by surprise - who in this age talks this way publicly?

Brian, I agree with the others, you do not have to apologize.

You don't have to apologize, Brian. I'm with Jason, the vaccine talk stood out for me. So, may I ask: what is the DE Libertarian Party view on SB 121? What is the Libertarian Party view on vaccination?

Don;t worry Brian nobody here lives in the district. As for me, I'm more offended by the vaccine conspiracy talk than the Pollack thing.

I don't know what to say. I am highly disappointed with her poor choice of words, and apologize on behalf of the party for any offense taken.
