Reading selectively, are we? Op cit. on saving my venom for public figures. Either join a discussion or sit on the outside - makes no difference to me. I haven't read a single cogent, considered defense of liberal policy yet. Seems to be merely a fish on the shore gasping for air. Oh well. At least Jason has the strength to venture out and comment.

"One thing I have noticed about libs and cons alike is that they too quickly travel to ad homiletic bullshit. It’s actually the cheap way into and out of a debate..."

This is from Clyde who also wrote:

“Mike” has sold his soul to Beelzebub"

and

"but “Mike” seems to me to be indicative of a weak spirit"

and

"So this guy sucks even before I write anything about him.

and

"It seems “Mike” isn’t very pro-the-stuff-we-need-to-eat unless, of course, the stuff-we-need-to-eat is dead babies. What a douche."

and

"It’s too bad so many people are driven by emotion – it exhibits, falsely, a shallow intellect."

A "looney tune freakshow"? Yeah, Jason got that right. And a cheap one at that.

Cute, guys. Actually, I save my venom for public figures. Post-Bush? No. I've been around a lot longer than W or Clinton, the current dem Congress and the previous pub one.

One thing I have noticed about libs and cons alike is that they too quickly travel to ad homiletic bullshit. It's actually the cheap way into and out of a debate - cheap in terms of lacking intellect and the ability to critically view and discuss historical fact and current policy.

I'm more interested in learning from everyone and sharing my point of view. I'm not dyed in anyone's wool. I have my views and learned reasons for them. It's too bad so many people are driven by emotion - it exhibits, falsely, a shallow intellect.

Any of you assholes up for an honest and informed debate? Smile ...

Clyde must be some kind of new post-Bush wingnut interested in civility. He didn't even spaz out when I called him a dope on his own site.

Maybe I'll try this civility thing and see who blinks first?

But our differences in policy doesn’t mean we can’t be civil.

Obviously you're new around here.

Your liberal ways are heading towards bankrupting the country.

Your conservative ways, i.e. looney tune freakshow, already have bankrupted the country, morally and fiscally.

Asshole.

(I don't usually use profanity in my comments, but I wanted you to feel welcome.)

Patience, my friend. Your liberal ways are heading towards bankrupting the country. But our differences in policy doesn't mean we can't be civil. Look forward to healthy debates with you.

Is the mushy middle that popular in Delaware?

Only compared to the tomato cans that the other party keeps putting up in order to maintain the Delaware way decorum.

Being invited into the Incumbent Party of Delaware is to receive a lifetime sinecure.

The right hates him because he's not a rabid right-winger, and the left hates him because he never votes with the Democrats on anything substantive. Is the mushy middle that popular in Delaware? Because I can't think of any other reason why Castle keeps getting re-elected.
