"I think she has more backbone than 90% of Delaware’s politicians."

Dinosaurs had big backbones -- very big backbones. Very tiny brains, though.

Protack - sort of like your hack attacks on the President and Governor? Hmmm. It's OK for you to trash the Dems, but when we expose the stupidity of the bimbo from Wasilla, we're out of line? Give me a break!

The infatuation with Palin goes on and on and on. Palon does not speak for Republicans, she speaks to them.

Why don't you mention Warren Buffet's comments about the failed stimulus and long term employment numbers?

That is where Palin is correct, the ongoing political hack attacks by those who should lead is getting old. Losing your house or job is not an R or D issue.

I think it would be a big mistake to not have Palin campaign in Delaware, I think she has more backbone than 90% of Delaware's politicians.

What a joke.

Palin says that she is going to stump for conservative Dems.

Let me know when some Dems (even conservative ones) take her up on that.

But don;t get me wrong. I'm glad she is going to be the leader of your party. I'm 100% behind her.

Palin to stump for conservative Democrats [will back conservatives regardless of party affiliation]
The Washington Times ^ | 2009-07-10 | Ralph Z. Hollow

ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Brushing aside the criticisms of pundits and politicos, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said she plans to jump immediately back into the national political fray — stumping for conservative issues and even Democrats — after she prematurely vacates her elected post at month's end.

The former Republican vice-presidential nominee and heroine to much of the GOP's base said in an interview she views the electorate as embattled and fatigued by nonstop partisanship, and she is eager to campaign for Republicans, independents and even Democrats who share her values on limited government, strong defense and "energy independence."

"I will go around the country on behalf of candidates who believe in the right things, regardless of their party label or affiliation," she said over lunch in her downtown office, 40 miles from her now-famous hometown of Wasilla — population 7,000 — where she began her political career.

"People are so tired of the partisan stuff — even my own son is not a Republican," said Mrs. Palin, who stunned the political world earlier this month with her decision to step down as governor July 26 with 18 months left in her term.

Both her son, Track, 20, an enlisted soldier serving in Iraq, and her husband, Todd, are registered as "nonpartisan" in Alaska.

Part of this is in the category of "cashing in". Newt needs his donors and people to buy his books and to pay to see him. So will Palin. Gingrich is rapidly proving that he is way more interested in showmanship that pays than in any new ideas for governing.

I knew this would happen! How could it not with the purity purge going on? Some Republicans are no longer interested in electability but are much more interested in enforcing rightwing ideology. I wonder if this is also happening with Chris Christie?
