Today Governor Markell will sign SB 121, the bill banning discrimination in employment, housing, contracts and insurance on the basis of sexual orientation.
It’s time to celebrate! If anyone is going to the signing and wants to report back or send pictures, we’ll post them. Stay tuned!

Some decent goal celebrations. I dig “knighting” the scorer with the corner flag (a tap on both shoulders). The Peter Crouch “robot” dance is very disturbing… plus he’s like 6-8 and Michael Owen is standing next to him. Owen is short anyway but juxtapose those two… what a mess.

It was a huge crowd (probably a few hundred people spilling out into the Camp Rehoboth courtyard). Jack, Matt, Bill Oberle, Drew Fennel, Karen Peterson, Liane Sorenson, John Brady, Pete Schwartzkopf, and a mix of gays, lesbians, and heterosexual friends and supporters. I took over 100 photos – as soon as I sort through them, I’ll post them on my blog.
Finally, we are on the road to equality in Delaware. Pete shared a story with me – he said Thurman Adams came to him about 3 weeks ago and told him it was time “to get this done.” He was referring to SB 121. Maybe Adams knew he was dying, but he told Pete it would go to a friendly committee and make it to the floor. The rest is history.

wonderful…I’m tired of being discriminated against because I’m a heterosexual.
