  1. Glenn Beck is like a train wreck. You can’t look at it, yet you can’t look away.

  2. delacrat says:

What do they want to be when they grow up ?

  3. pandora says:

Glenn had a little too much fun with those dolls. What an idiot.

  4. G Rex says:

So you’re saying ACORN isn’t a criminal enterprise from soup to nuts? Huh. Guess the truth hurts too much – time to shoot the messenger! (apologies for mixing metaphors.) FYI, Glenn Beck’s latest book, Common Sense, is due to open at #1 on the best seller list. Suck on it bitches!

“Glenn Beck is like a train wreck. You can’t look at it, yet you can’t look away.”

YMMV, but I find it remarkably easy to look away.

“FYI, Glenn Beck’s latest book, Common Sense, is due to open at #1 on the best seller list.”

What a shame that most buyers will have to get someone to read it to them. I’m sure it will hold pride of place in most of their libraries, right next to “Hop on Pop.”

  6. G Rex says:

You got nothin’ Geezer. Maybe it’s like those Democrat books (Wright, Hillary, Obama et al) that sell millions of copies that nobody reads? Nope. People are actaully buying Common Sense, reading it, and passing at along to their friends. Still, it’s funny that the union goons didn’t rush out and Buy Speaker Pelosi’s book.

  7. cassandra_m says:

Harold Robbins wrote books that landed on the best-seller lists and no one is going to claim any authority from that other than selling alot of books. The books were still trash.

But a grown man playing with dolls and lying to audiences just might be the kind of thing that would have helped Robbins sell his trash novels.

  8. Geezer says:

Actually, G, the conservatives are well known for both buying up lots of books so they can make the sort of dumb statement you did, and not actually reading the things (I spend a lot of time at bookstores).

Have you ever listened to this clown? He’s not even a good actor. He’s fleecing you and your ilk a lot worse than any government ever will. Buy the book, though, little boy. Then you will literally “have nothing.”

  9. Geezer says:

“So you’re saying ACORN isn’t a criminal enterprise from soup to nuts? Huh.”

What’s the G stand for? Glenn? Because that’s about as intellectually deep as he ever gets.

  10. callerRick says:

I have only seen Beck a handfull of times, but how are his ratings doing as compared to PMSNBC and so on? Somewhat like Limbaugh v. Air America?

  11. Von Cracker says:

Ratings mean shit in this genre….

The same old folks watch religiously for their daily affirmation….they need it, so the ratings stay consistent.

On the other hand, liberals actually do stuff during Prime Time, such as having sex with the person they’re married to or dating, going out for dinner, hanging out with friends, watch Weeds.

So don’t give me ratings = credibility. All it proves (regarding these pundit shows) is that there are way too many concerned sheep (with nothing else better to do with their sad lives) with the compulsive need to watch their intellectual and spiritual gurus tell them what to think and how to react to and deflect reality and news that consistently crushes their world view.

    Here’s a nice tidbit:

Average age of TV viewers is 50 years old.

Average age of Fox News viewer is 65!

Good luck finding new sheep once these sedentary old bastards die out…… 😉

  12. Thanks for the sexist remark, Rick.
