They forced him to take the stimulus money. Since the stimulus fight began, Sanford has lost a lot of his popularity in the state. As far as the Sanford story goes, it's still a big mystery. The latest is that he's on the Appalachian Trail, but no one has heard from him since Thursday. Yes, Sanford got his ass handed to him by his own state assembly and state court.
