Iran coverage on BBC news has been excellent.(Channel 107 if you have Verizon Fios)

As for experts on Iran, my Iranian friends tell me Mousavi would be just as bad as Ahmedinejad, just less vocal about it – they still voted for him, but more in protest against A-Jad than in actual support of the opposition candidate – and remember his candidacy was also approved by the mullahs. Also, when he was PM, Mousavi was the one who got the Iranian nuclear weapons program started.

Historical tidbit: Mousavi was Ollie North’s opposite number in the Iran-Contra deal to get TOW missiles for hostages.

Geezer’s right for sure about Larry King.

I think it’s a big problem though that our media turns to self-styled experts on Iran, like neocons. Those guys didn’t know what they were talking about regarding Iraq so they shouldn’t be trusted near a microphone about Iran.
