  1. LOL!!!

He could hand out buttons for everyone to wear that say “Loser.” I’m sure people will be lined up out the door for those. He does have one advantage though, there’s already a hand signal to designate loser.

  2. You seem to forget, your silly and personal attacks don’t matter to me. They show your weakness and immaturity.

It is SOP for Delaware Liberal to attack on a personal level when you fail to persuade anyone with a sensible argument.

The state of Delaware is a train wreck and your guys run the state, the Country is on the way to financial armegeddon and Mr. Obama keeps blaming everyone else. Perhaps you folks can buy him a mirror for Father’s Day?

    Mike Protack

If my silly and personal attacks don’t matter to you I guess I’ll stop.

I’d sure hate for my weakness and immaturity to become public knowledge.

  4. FSP says:

I disagree. It’s a truly memorable name. You think you could come across that and forget it? People would vote for the Loser guy (meaning the guy with the real name, not the loser that embodies the definition) just to say they did. If you’re on a downticket ballot slot and you’re just trying to get people to pay attention, it would be a neat trick.

  5. Art Downs says:

I am not a Protack supporter but see his repeated candidacies as a symptom of malaise in the State GOP.

There is little in the way of excitement. Regrettably, the fumbling of the last Gubernatorial race was catastrophic and the contrived boomlet for Levin was political travesty. Hopefully, the change at the top will make for some improvement. I cast my vote for Protack at the GOP Convention as a form of protest but enthusiastically supported Bill Lee. I even wrote a check to his campaign. Lee has served the state well and had the ideas that would continue to do so.

We can look forward to decline on all fronts under Markell. He will respond to problems with panaceas. The Minner era may be looked back upon with admiration.

The Democrats have a party leadership dominated by labor lobbyists. Does this show a bit of a tilt?

Will we see any reform of a bloated and ineffective educational establishment or will we see more good money sent after bad?

The state GOP may have a golden opportunity to exploit issues. How many of the refugees from New Jersey and Maryland want more of what they escaped?

I’m tempted to say “What do you mean Art?” But I know you mean it to be the vacuous GOP gibberish that it is.

  7. Art’s comment is not meant to be gibberish. It means Markell has no clue on how to govern.

Neither does Obama – for which Obama is turning the country into a banana republic.

  8. JohnnyX says:

The ironic thing is this guy is German, so his last name doesn’t really mean “loser,” it would actually mean something more like “more loosely” or “looser” – the way many English speaking “losers” who can’t spell often misspell, well, “loser.” 🙂

That being said, I understand “Oliver Verlierer” just wouldn’t seem as funny.

  9. jason330 says:

    Jason O’

Again. Vacuous, meaningless, pointless GOP gibberish. If you guys had some kind of argument to make – some defense of failed GOP policies to lay down – I guess you would.

Instead we get: Obama = bad. Markell = bad. To that I say “whatever.”

  10. Art Downs says:

Johnny X is correct in that what seems funny in English is mundane in another language.

This phenomenon may account for the theft of some road signs in Austria.

Closer to home, some rail yards have signs stating ‘No humping’.

My friend in Germany has a satellite antenna with big letters on it saying “SatAn” I asked if it got American television.
