There is a massive black-out in New Castle right now. The Governor is about to sign HB1 into law in Old New Castle. I think somewhere Thurman Adams is laughing his fool head off right next to an oversized knife switch.

Feh. It’s all the drama! They are “in the dark” in the old courthouse, but as Markell begins to sign, someone (Selander???) slowly opens the doors, to let the sunlight peek in on Markell, one pen stroke at a time. When the Governor puts that last “L” on the signature line, full sunlight and the power is restored. Rebecca sings in glorious jubilation like an angel upon high.
