Even if that proves unsatisfactory, at least a consensus has been reached on ‘tasty’ and ‘marbled’. Proof that there is hope for bipartisanship yet.

I don’t think it is at all certain that Cro-Magnon was intellectually superior to Neanderthals. Neanderthals had bigger brains and had the necessary components for speech and language. They were also bigger and stronger, but I assume lesser adaptive to the changing climate.

There was one theory that the Neanderthals coexisted with modern man but were a rather shy bunch that hid from their intellectual superiors. Some believe that the last of their breed is the reason for our race memory about trolls and other frightening creatures.
