Mike M to Quit Blogging?
It is too soon to write the obit, but DWA will be missed if it happens.
He is a first class pain is the ass. Sometimes that bugs the crap out of you and sometimes that is just what the doctor ordered.

would it be wrong to ask if John Atkins can get him a job?
Speaking of Atkins….
As you may recall SCCOR is the secessionist SC group that wants to revolt against the Obama police state.
Oy vey!
That’s unfortunate.
I hear he’s going to start a new blog called “Up With Pseudonyms!”

I don’t care who you are, that’s funny.
Atkins needs to align himself with an armed militia b/c his verbal assaults are so impotent.
I guess the atkins thing should be in a different post to avoid comment confusion.

” I think it’s fair to say that this was the first job I’ve not received as a direct result of the ribald and questionably tasteful things I’ve written on DWA.”
Ya think, really? And what has Mike written that was “questionably tasteful”?
And then this gem:
“I’m all about anonymous commentary”
Could have fooled me.
So now back to Mike–so has a 12 step program begun?
I wonder what sort of court orders are required to clear out Google of references to Mike Matthews? Mike must be thinking, “Now where the hell did that genie go?”
While I don’t hide who I am, I will continue to blog under pandora because of google. Personally, I think anything you write during your college years shouldn’t count against you. Why isn’t this sort of blogging considered a youthful indiscretion?
Henry Hyde? George W. Bush? They received a do over. Why not Mike?
I think that’s a great point, pandora. We’ve all done stupid and silly things when we were in college and in our early 20s, but it’s not documented all over the web. I personally don’t think Mike has done anything that should count against him in a job, because having an opinion and writing it down should not be a disqualifier.
“I think that’s a great point, pandora. We’ve all done stupid and silly things when we were in college and in our early 20s”
Uh, are we supposed to stop the stupid stuff at a certain point? And if so, what is the point?
You don’t have to stop, Reis, just don’t post them to your blog or your Facebook page.
I love when life provides such wonderful examples of irony.
I graduated 2 years ago. And plan on going for my masters…SWEET!
