The Ohio Militia is calling for a “Million Man Militia March” on DC for July 4. Here’s their video:
So I wonder why an organizer of this thing needs to mask his voice?
This, I think, is a ripe candidate for reality TV. Watching these guys try to get a permit to carry firearms on the Mall, in Washington DC would be worth paying for cable for a few weeks. And how many of these guys will show up where cameras can see them (especially since they won’t use their real voices)? Even better, how many of these guys will show up in a place with a majority African American population? Wonder if I could broker a deal to have the Fruit of Islam provide bodyguard and escort services for these protesters?

Seriously, 1 million armed protesters?
A) there is no way in hell they could muster over 100 and
B) The Park Police, the DC Police, The FBI, The Secret Service and every sane resident of DC would have a major problem with the granting of a marching permit.
C) if they got to 1 million armed wingnuts, the probability of them shooting each other would be 100%.

They are just falling into a self-reinforcing cycle. They’ll go to Washington (nowhere near 1M, IMO) and the police will take their guns, thus proving that Obama will take their guns.

And I just listened again. The best I could get was that he is angry that “nothing” is being done. People complain but “nothing” comes of it.
