The new old repub “theory” of elections:
GOP Wins: “Fair election”
GOP Loses: “Recount! Take it to court! Do-over!”
Here is another thought:
Republicans are all for massive increases in defense spending and desire war after war (some neocons now want to invade Somalia again after the Pirate incident, and of course, they still want to invade Iran and North Korea).
Question:
How do we pay for it?
Since taxes are now the evil tool of islamosocialistmuslimcommunists everywhere, we obviously must abolish all taxes: leaving the government of the United States of America without a revenue stream.
So how to we pay for the neocon’s wet dreams without taxes?
The new repub “theory” of economics:
GOP Wins: “Cutting taxes grows revenues – good!”
GOP Loses: “Cutting taxes grows deficits – bad!”
DD, you silly boy! Any good Republican will tell you that those taxes don’t count.
The new repub “theory” of defense spending:
GOP Wins: “An increase in the defense budget is an increase in defense spending”
GOP Loses: “An increase in the defense budget is a cut in defense spending”
The new repub “theory” of teabagging:
GOP Wins: “Slang for an act of sodomy that should be outlawed”
GOP Loses: “A patriotic act of protest – how dare you think it is anything else!”
About patriotism:
GOP wins: “Criticism of the president is un-American and unpatriotic.”
GOP loses: “Criticism of the president is our patriotic duty.”
GOP always: “Shrink the government, except for defense spending.” “Government doesn’t create jobs, unless its making military equipment in my district.”
The new repub Pledge of Alligance:
GOP Wins: “One nation, indivisible… ”
GOP Loses: “One nation, ready to divide…”
Democracy Revisited —
GOP wins: We must export democracy to every nook and cranny of the earth, even if we have to cram it down their non-Western throats
GOP loses: Democracy is overrated
GOP wins ? dream on…..
