Glenn Greenwald has been — rightly and eloquently — going to town on this too. As have others like FDL, Yglesias, Digby. Which is certainly very good. And as much as people like to think of Olbermann as being in the bag for Dems, they’ve conveniently forgotten Olbermann critiquing John Kerry, John Murtha and others who’ve been weak-kneed or misbehaving. And I think there will be more. I think that Olbermann is not so much partisan as he is in possession of a pretty strong moral sensibility.

Jane Hamsher had a good post this morning about “wingnut welfare” and the difference between left and right. The basic point was that the conservative bloggers were acting as tools of the Republican party and profiting and that liberal bloggers were in it for ideals and principles. Yes, that’s a bit simplistic but it certainly explains the bitching and moaning going on about the demise of Pajamas Media.
