    Fear Chamber.

I think that describes the entire network.

  2. cassandra_m says:

So I guess that today’s marching orders at Fox were to promote Beck. And Shep Smith gets all passive aggressive over it. And people keep insisting that Fox is a real news organization 🙄

  3. jason330 says:

Maybe it was the editing, but it looked to me like Fox was trying to gin up some of that Stewart/Cramer feud type vibe.

I still think that was one of the funniest clips I’ve seen. I could watch it again and again. Geez, Shep did more to “unite” people with those snippets than Glenn Beck did through his weepy hour. He seemed – gasp – normal. 😉

  5. From the SalisburyNews – Steele might appear – check out the comments on this post….

“Particulars about the Meeting on Wednesday the 18th. It is at 6pm downtown Salisbury in front of the IRS office at the picnic tables. The topics we will be discussing are:

    Exact location
    Speakers
    Advertising
    Serious attendees

We are looking for individuals, families, business owners and responsible Americans who are ready to act and bring about real, positive tax reforms for themselves, their families and for generations to come. Messages have been left for Bob Caldwell, Rick Pollit and Michael Steele to possibly attend and speak at the event.

Shep Smith has always been my favorite person at Fox News. He has continued to call those crazies out on their b.s.

Also, when I went past the FNC studios in NYC, he was chain smoking like a mother f’er on some parliament lights.

    Hero.

    Shep Schlep
You are all a bunch of deusche-bags

  8. jason330 says:

    “deusche-bags”

    I like it.

  9. Unstable Isotope says:

I would like to see Michael Steele speak. It will be off the hook.

  10. Unstable Isotope says:

Conform, Sheperd Smith, conform! You must love Glenn Beck because we say so.

OK, here’s the bottom line. I checked out the local Beck Day forum… turns out these people are Paulites. Their two big follow-up issues are:

    1. Support Ron Paul’s bill to require an audit of the Federal Reserve, with the goal of abolishing the Fed, and

    2. Support the wingnut Tenth Amendment movement, which encourages states to pass toothless “sovereignty” resolutions affirming the Tenth Amendment (which is already alive and well).

Here is a preview of what you will be reading in upcoming wingnut posts (they make it easy for us!):

Didn’t notice this yesterday, but apparently Glen Beck Day was Friday the 13th.

  14. Dorian Gray says:

He will be joining us from his fear chamber directly! That’s fucking brilliant, that is.

What I hear is that some on the right and the ultra left are concerned about the riots that are going to occur as result of this country tanking. The FEMA camps are a federal thing, and both right and left are not going to permit our citizens taken away because they are protesting the government (which is our right no matter who is president), and from using the national guard on the streets of our cities to quiet protestors.

My question is where were the State rights folks when Bush used our National Guard and sent them to war in Iraq. The guard was absent in La, when Katrina hit…that is what they are supposed to be for….state national guard to be used for State emergencies.

I understand the issue and people being frightened of a future none of us is sure of. I understand that the Glen Becks are using the “fear card and gloom and doom”, to take advantage of Joe six pack who knows nothing about whats going on, but does no his job is gone, and is house is being foreclosed on. The Becks, Rushs, etc, will use this fear card to build the republican party, and they will use the anger of the working class to “blame everyone” except the international banking cartel, operated by, designed by the zionists. If you look at Madoff…he was able to keep l billion dollars. Look at AIG, sending 2.2 trillion to Israel so the extremists settlers could get mortages to build homes on stolen Palestinan lands. Citibank, Wells Fargo, JP MorganChase, AIG are headed by zionists. Bernanke refuses to tell the public who he gave all those billions of our tax dollars too! Why? Because it would expose the international banking cartel as the culprits. Obama by having Geitner as Treasury is foolish. Obama is being viewed as keeping that cartel alive while empting our Treasury. They will confuse the hell out of people, scare monger and put fear in them to join the republican party in the next election.
There are good reasons to be angry but that anger must be directed at those responsible, and both corporate parties are responsible, dont get that confused. We are being sold down the river.
