Anything that can be done to block spamsters is a good thing.

I have no problem with dealing with different opinions, and can handle attacks.

What really offends me are the parasitical squatters who invade domains of discussion with their crap.

I think we and all agree on this and should exchange ideas freely without regard to ideology.

Well now I am confused. We are talking about 2 things here. Comments that are moderated are the ones that end up in the moderation queue, and they are only moderated by contributors if those comments attempt to out someone, or if those comments threaten violence.

Comments containing 2 or more links or are over 1000 words are put in the spam filter, and can be released by us.
