Two things:

First, the Irish regard tact as the ability to tell someone to go Hell in a handbasket in such a way that they are looking forward to the trip.
By this measure the Republicans are very tactful.

Second, at least they chose Longaberger.

The hand basket is real, but it is woven out of republican DOGMA, as in Deregulation and general disdain for the average american worker. I suppose there were a few wing-nuts back in 1912 who blamed the entire titanic diasaster on the captain of the Carpathia for not getting there soon enough.

Great analigy Jason, love being your straight man. trouble is it`s getting to look liki we are in even deeper dodo than i predicted and I`ve been one of the most pesimistic people on the planet. I never aspired to living like an asian peasent but mah be in time I will get good at it.
