Rong Williams reports…
Spence is pounding the sidewalks
According to talk on the street, former House speaker Terry Spence, the longest serving state speaker in the country, is having a difficult time finding a new job.
Traditionally, Delaware Park has been known as the golden coffin for fading politicians. Spence certainly helped see to it that the place didn’t go broke during his tenure. But he’s been told there’s no room at the inn for him, sources have said. Spence has been conspicuously absent from public events since surprisingly losing his seat in November.

I hope Gonzalez continues to be unemployable. He hitched his wagon to George Bush’s star. He’s getting what he had coming to him. Does anyone else remember when Gonzalez was mentioned as a possible SCOTUS appointee?

Why is that comment there? I didn’t write it! (Or I did, actually, to a post about Gonzalez having trouble finding a job).
