If Castle were to run for Senate – it’s not out of the question – he would be unlikely to receive a free pass.

Even when underfunded, the Democrats always had an A-list challenger for Bill Roth.

Now, with a muscular DSCC, a strong party infrastructure, Internet fund-raising and a formidable array of ambitious candidates, the Democrats could look at a Castle-for-Senate campaign as a chance for a doubleheader sweep.
