I’m not talking about Todd here. Sarah Palin falls for a fake call from the President of France. The world is over.

  1. Unstable Isotope says:

Her staff is really, really dumb for giving her the phone in the first place. She is dumb for not figuring it out when he misnamed the prime ministers of Canada and Quebec. There were plenty of other places where she could have figured out something was up as well.

  2. nemski says:

UI, I fixed the headline as you are correct, Sarah Palin’s handlers were out to lunch. I guess this is what happens when you go rogue.

  3. pandora says:

Sarah Palin is nothing more than a personality. She has absolutely no depth and the American people are seeing through her. I can’t remember another candidate whose negatives shot up so quickly. She is the ultimate insult to our intelligence.

  4. jason330 says:

This should be funny, except the fact that many people will be voting for her takes the fun out of it for me.

  5. Dominique says:

UI – You’re assuming she even knew the correct names of the Canadian prime ministers. That’s a mighty big assumption.

There have been several reports about her displeasure with her handlers. I can kind of see why. What a mess.

  6. She giggles like a school girl when complimented. You could almost hear her blush.

  7. FSP says:

Sarkozy fell for the same thing.

  8. Unstable Isotope says:

    Dom,

I don’t think she knew the names, but she should. I think she was probably trying to be polite because she assumed that it was Sarkozy because her staff said it was. There were plenty of clues that something was up during the call. It seemed clueless that the staff would not question why the French president would call a candidate – usually world leaders try to stay out of it.

I heard that these comics also fooled the Pope.

I’m kind of embarrassed for her.
