Copeland’s Vaunted Wilmington Campaign
For weeks, Kilroy has been taunting us that Copeland was making inroads in Wilmington. This is pretty laughable. In the past few days, Kilroy has been saying that the Republicans had a full-on assault coming our way.
One of our intrepid readers caught the newest strategy in action. I think it is appropriate that this sign was found at a bus stop, since Copeland just threw Bill Lee under the proverbial bus. I think it also confirms what we have thought all along, Bill Lee is just an accessory to the Copeland candidacy. At least Bill didn’t have to work too hard.

I got a crazy robocall from Copeland on behalf of Mike Brown ( Repub Councilman at Large in the City) not only talking up Mike Brown but claiming they’d both been in “the community” for years. Copeland just found “the community” over the past few months. In any event, while I don’t think I’ve ever voted for Mike Brown, I am seriously thinking of casting my third At Large vote for Paul Degnars as a protest on all of this foolishness.

I’ve received two or three Copeland mailers. The rest have been handled by his chicken shit Lead PAC.
I think I’ve gotten four of these mailers and one robocall. Fortunately, I get to feed the recycling monster tomorrow.

Charlie Copeland is trying to “split the democratic vote”. Using the sinister ministers, using Norman Oliver and Congo (the bag man) to do it. Copeland can’t win on his own which is why has bought off the un democratic democrats who are willing to throw democrats under the bus, for nothing more than MONEY!
Why is the party not having a “sit down talk” with Hazel Plant and Congo? Why did they have Mike Castle on their shows last night, who seems to have taken Karen Hartley Nagle’s talking points as his own. Everyone knows you cannot win Statewide without the city. When this election is over its time for the citizens to go after the party for their “back room deals” with certain party officials who are going against their own candidates. This whole thing is politically sick and we shouldn’t tolerate this crap any longer. There will be a lot of “speaking out, telling the truth about the party leadership when this election is over…count on it.
Copeland is everything which is wrong with the delaware GOP. He is a fraud and a liar.
Full disclosure, I worked on Mike’s 2006 campaign for senate but sat out this one and changed to D to vote for Markell.
Few remember when Copeland ran a very nasty primary against Dallas Winslow, my friend, who was an incumbent by the way. Charlie gets a pass and who else could do that?
The insiders at the GOP should all resign and after Copeland loses he should go away for good. He is a jerk and a fraud.
Funny how Copeland dumps on Bill Lee and Protack trumps them all by passing on the IPOD to give Lee no excuses. Lee must feel like the bar tramps he pursues every night-used and worthless.
I hope Mike comes back in 2010, he could not have beaten Markell in 2008 but at least he had a plan.
Mike should try running for dogcatcher next time. Copeland is a fraud. His claim to have worked with Hazel Plant going into the prison was a hoax. On the day of their visit I received a phone call from a desperate mother whose 18 yr old mentally challenged son had been picked up for smoking a joint. The family had no idea what had happened to him for days and he had gone without medication. They found him at the locked down prison (in the hospital war running around naked). Copeland and Plant didnt go into that section. My question where did they visit the “visitors” room? It’s all about perception but they did nothing to change anything for prisons it was so he could use it in a political campaign. If he is so interested in prisons why has nothing changed in them? In fact, they are as bad or worse than ever and Danburg hasn’t done much either. Pathetic people without solutions shouldnt be promoted they should be voted out.
