My intent here was not to offend or insult. Rather, I misread his final line. I originally took it as he had no faith in the institution itself which puzzled me. Upon reread I can see how it was more about the trouble with the sanctity of the institution as practiced at large not personally.

Just curious. I find that a good many people who share your views still consider themselves Catholic which is odd.

Final point: annulment doesn’t mean the marriage never happened but rather there was some flaw that prevented the marriage to coming to proper fruition. (But yes it is essentially a weasel way of offering divorce)

Oh, and my kids won’t be raised bigots. I would venture to say that the SMM has way more of influence on it’s children being bigots then the way I will raise my kids.

I would dare say that a majority of it’s parents most likely send their kids to that school to avoid having to be in public schools of wilmington b/c of the various races that attend the schools.

I don’t even know where to begin with your next question. You think my wife doesn’t know my views on marriage? Why would it matter if she didn’t know how I feel. Like it would offend her? How you define your marriage is frankly none of my business and it has no relevance to how I define my own. The entire religious argument that a homosexual marriage redefines mine is a smoke screen for relgious zealots who think gays are sinning. It’s a insult to my intelligence. Actually every argument against gay marriage is an insult to my intelligence.

Pretty easy to justify on pragmatic grounds. Would you want the prick to stay with his wife and kids and diddle Ms. Trophy on the side? Or would you want him to leave his wife but be unable to marry Ms. Trophy, and raise a bunch of bastards?

Instead, they let Mr. Prick marry Ms. Trophy, and the Church at least has a shot at getting the kids souls.

This was a complete slap in the face to his first wife and his children. How does the church justify their decision to the ones left behind? And my example is not the exception. I know at least 11 people who have received annulments – quite easily. Dare I say too easily.
