Obama Newspaper Endorsements — Info Geek Edition

Filed in National by on October 28, 2008

I’m a big fan of folks who know how to layout data graphically and this is simply outstanding.

Note how little relationship there is between the red state/blue state thing and the paper’s Presidential endorsements.

I wish I could embed it, but really, just go see it. Hover your cursor over the circles or lines to know what papers are being accounted for and their endorsement history for 2004 and 2008. The complete list is at the end of the blog post.

Pssst…Jason-Awesome happened awhile ago–The Arizona Republic has NEVER endorsed McCain from way back in pre-primary days. But I know, there’s a lot of newspapers for you to read in six languages. You can just delete both comments and no one will ever know…pass granted.

cassandra–great graphic–it has been neat to bring up the papers of where I’ve lived and read thru the years–excellent find!
