How do you like your War Crimes?

WE

DON’T

TORTURE

PERIOD

The Bush administration issued a pair of secret memos to the CIA in 2003 and 2004 that explicitly endorsed the agency’s use of interrogation techniques such as waterboarding against al-Qaeda suspects — documents prompted by worries among intelligence officials about a possible backlash if details of the program became public.

Even the CIA knew it was wrong and wanted to cover it’s ass.

“It came up in the daily meetings. We heard it from our field officers,” said a former senior intelligence official familiar with the events. “We were already worried that we” were going to be blamed.

Gee, Look at this list of War Mongers.  What I really love is they are all Christian.  I believe Ashcroft, Gonzalez and Rice are Evangelical.

In interviews, the officials recounted a series of private briefings about the program with members of the administration’s security team, including Rice and Cheney, followed by more formal meetings before a larger group including then-Attorney General John D. Ashcroft, then-White House counsel Alberto R. Gonzales and then-Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld. None of the officials recalled President Bush being present at any of the discussions.

So either the President wasn’t really the President or he was protected very well by Cheney.  My guess is based on Cheney being part of the Nixon Administration and saying that he had learned from Nixon’s mistakes that Bush knew and he made the decision to torture.

Our current administration is a disgrace and is no better than the terrorists (supposed) that want to kill us.   What’s more amazing is that we have a POW running for President and he can’t even denounce torture, support VA bills and stand up to the sicko’s in his crowd.   The same sicko’s his party has cultivated and nurtured to rabidly support them and shut down dissent.

He deserves to lose, he deserves to lose bad to the point where he makes history.  I hope the money they have made was worth it.

This is why I am so angry with Pelosi. If we can’t count on the House to be the nation’s conscience where can we turn?
