When the economy turned south, he was not able to respond. He's still not responding. I think he may have been forgiven if he had presented anything that isn't a joke of a plan. So, when the opportunity arose for leadership, McCain chose showmanship. Now, when the opportunity arises to work together to solve the problems of the country (country first) he chooses division. Obama has presented very specific initiatives. One may object to these on ideological grounds perhaps, or maybe debate the feasibility based on cost. But he clearly has a plan. But the point is valid. I'd like to hear one reason someone would cast a vote for McCain that had nothing to do with Obamaphobia or the fact that the Viet Cong bayoneted him in the nuts.
