Inept DEGOP Rolls Out Pre-debunked Markell Smear Site

Filed in Delaware by on October 9, 2008

Man oh man. I thought Dave Crossan was a low life loser. At least he was competent enough to coordinate his smears.

Tom Ross’ smears of Markell were debunked two weeks ago, but he is just now rolling out the companion web-site.

I don’t think it will work.

From my understanding of politics, the time to define your opponent before they’ve defined themselves has passed. Markell benefited from the hard-fought nomination process, so his name recognition is high already.

I also think that Jack benefits here from the fact that the GOP is in pretty serious desperation mode in prime time TV almost every night, so this just looks like more of that desperation. Which, of course, it is. When you have nothing to talk about, and no ideas to engage folks with, you make shit up. GOP-style.

  3. Question? says:

How is linking to articles and court documents a smear?

How can Jack tout saving $25 million for the state when his own budget has risen by nearly 4 times that since he took office?

How is Jack a sound fiscal watchdog when Delaware’s revenues have fallen faster than nearly every other state?

How is having your insurance company settle for $27 MILLION against a lawsuit a declaration of innocence?

  4. MJ says:

What do you expect from a drunk former judge and a newby politician who isn’t dry behind the ears yet? Nothing but unsubstantiated smears and bs. Bye-bye Lee and Ross. And take Charles Lamont DuPont Copeland with you.

And why is it that “Question” won’t reveal that he’s really Tom Ross?
