Did you know?

That Venezuela borders Iran?

This, two weeks after he said that Spain was in Latin America. Here’s the video from McCain’s economic forum that just took place today – Ben Smith has the transcript:

McCain, talking about energy policy, stresses the importance of “ensuring that America is secure, and not dependent on oil from people like Hugo Chavez or other parts of the Middle East which is, as we know, could be destabilized under certain sets of circumstances.”

Uh, judgement and leadership….

  1. As if the Middle East doesn’t have enough problems already.

  2. Small point but here is the correct spelling. Seems fair if you really think Sen McCain was making the geographical border reference you mention.

Someone get that man a map, stat!

  4. I’m going to hazard a guess and say that McCain knows that Venezuela is no where near the Mid East. A more plausible explanation is that he’s having flash backs; you know he was a POW.

You have to do better than this….conversational flow puts this in perspective….don’t be so hypervigilant…you have enough to work with to leave syntax and word placement alone.

Everyone knows Venezuela is not in the Middle East. It is next to those extra 7 U.S. states Obama visited.

We all know you hate Obama because he is black.

You’re a broken record. Go away.

  10. Anon – Thanks for proving yourself to be an ignorant racist.

I hate him because of his attitude and more importantly his policies.

  11. I hate his policies and what he stands for, as it is the antithesis of everything that’s great about America.

And honestly yes, I find the man himself contemptible.

Oh, and unlike some I don’t advocate violence against him or his ilk.
