Has anyone heard Copeland’s new radio ad? Now, he’s caliming the glory for BWW. Have these people no shame? First, Carney got it done, now Copeland. It’s a good thing DeLuca doesn’t have anyone running against him or we’d be hearing how he’s the one that ‘got ‘er done’. How come no one wants to credit all of the people who never said die and kept BWW in the forefront? Oh well, it didn’t wind the primary for Carney and it won’t win Lt Gov for Copeland. Fortunately, people were paying attention.

I don’t think Copeland even thinks he can win Lyt. Gov. this time. I think he wants to come close and look like a hero for the attempt so that he can run for Castle’s open seat in 2 years.

Actually, if Copeland thought the Republicans stood a chance this year, he would have run for Governor himself. The reason he is running for Lt. Governor is because he knows no one will beat Markell, so he might as well be the opposition leader as Lt. Governor.

I’m still a little fuzzy on why Copeland decided to run for Lt. Gov. Did he really think the Republicans stood a chance to win the governor’s seat? They practically had to beg Lee to run. Why didn’t Copeland just go ahead and run for governor?

Has there been polling on the Denn/Copeland race?

It would be nice for Denn to beat Copeland by so much that it ejects him from poltics forever, I don’t see that happening though.

He is the only peice of floating debris from the SS. DEGOP that looks a little bit like a raft if you squnit at it. That should be enough for many Republican ticket splitters to try and climb aboard.
