The Right Wing redefined the term “UnAmerican” during the last eight years as anyone who disagrees with the President of the United States. I, and all of my colleagues, reject that definition. But I wonder if that term does apply to someone who was a member of a party (The Alaska Independence Party) that once and still advocates the succession of Alaska from the United States. Yes, the unvetted and horribly inexperienced Vice Presidential Candidate of the Republican Party wants to break up the United States of America.

Sarah Palin is by far, the worst nominee for Vice President or President from any party in the history of the United States. That McCain decided to not vet her, and decided to pick her in a panic, and is sticking with this nomination reveals McCain to be literally insane.
Alaskan statehood was foisted on them by occupying troops…?

This is low BUT:
Could someone (even BP) turn up the thermostat so the Governatoress doesn’t have to wear those ‘outdoor’ garments indoors?
Lower still: I hate looking at all those 8 x 10 sheets of fake wood panelling that seem to be everywhere in pix from Alaska.
They should spend some of that oil money on renovations with the ‘Queer Eye’ guys to help change that faux back woodsy ambience.
