I think it’s funny that those “evil” Blackwater folks with all their guns have gone green an embraced alternative energy.

Not to mention they use lead-free disintegrating ammunition.
I doubt any of that will make the far left hate them any less.

In response to the Murder on 300 South Van Buren Street The police braged that they confiscated 714 guns in Wilmington.

When asked if there was a diagnosis performed on the source of the guns. He stated that the guns were sent to ATF, but no one has requested any synopsis on any statistics gathered, or study done.
When people presume to make suggestions for gun controls, but fail to take into account, actually trying to study the situation, we have insanity.
714 guns confiscated in Wilmington, a city with 70,000 people, is 1 gun per 100 people. Presumably these guns were used in crimes, or possessed by persons prohibited. And therefore rightfully confiscated. [ I hope.]
BUT to do NO STUDY to determine the source of the weapons? Such a failure to study the guns and the data they provide, just indicates the politics of the situation is driven by opinion and bias. That is why I am against those who expound on GUN CONTROL, it is mostly uninformed opinion and emotions.

The police usually smiles, and my City Councilman in the 6th district does everything he can to censure my remarks.

Oh, by the way, that bill that invalidated my Utah CCW in CO? proposed by a Democrat and signed into law by a Democrat.

Thanks to anti-gun Democrats I now can’t carry in the only other state in this country where I have family.

What sucks is because of the liberal swing in CO recently my Utah CCW is no longer valid there. That was one of the main reasons I applied for it in the 1st place, so that I could carry when visiting family.

Well, let us follow their “logic” and reasoning to its natural conclusion, Mike. And, in reality, it is not that hard to find extrapolations in other realms as well… After all, any male with functioning anatomy and libido could, very well, become a rapist. I propose we therefore lock up all males between the age of puberty and… well… death, for conspiracy to commit rape. Furthermore, any woman with functioning anatomy and the desire for more money could become a prostitute. As such, all women should either be involuntarily moved to Nevada, or arrested for conspiracy to commit illegal sexual activities.

Von – I can’t speak for Montana & NM, but the liberal turn in CO is a product of Denver and the Denver suburbs. Denver is like a totally different state than the rest of CO, full of die-hard California transplant liberals.

Judging by comments made during this campaign, the “bitter clingers” remarks, Obama’s support for outright bans, Biden’s outright contempt of the youtube gun owner, and the pride he takes in his authoring of the 94′ AWB and the one he’s pushing now I’d say the Dems have NOT learned their lesson. (esp. considering what happened to them as a result of the 1st AWB….)

Hell, the 08 official Dem platform still contains “What “works” in Chicago may not work in Cheyenne.”

It’s impossible to know the intent or future actions of someone buying guns. The best we can do is look for past criminal history and, barring that, defer to constitutional rights.
