can someone clothes line the chick “Gloria” from CNN? she is so fucking annoying. She tries so hard to sound balanced but the GOP talking points she delivers are very tiring.
seriously…one of you guys still over there make it happen
Congratulations. I stand corrected but I am still confused about the Obama strategy of unveiling Biden so late in the week.
So whats the impact on Markell/Carney ? With Beau out in Iraq, he can’t get the seat, can he ?
And Obama/Biden pretty much ensures Bill Lee is going to lose, right ?
The political ramifications of this pick are many.
1. Obama wins Delaware by a margin of 60-40 at least.
2. Lee and Copeland will both lose
3. I am not sure of the impact on Markell v. Carney, except I can opine that if Carney is the loser, he is our next Senator. If Markell loses, he is not. Minner and Carney will be spiteful and appoint someone else.
3. I am not sure of the impact on Markell v. Carney, except I can opine that if Carney is the loser, he is our next Senator. If Markell loses, he is not. Minner and Carney will be spiteful and appoint someone else.
2. Expect many more derogatory comments about our good state (“It is barely even a state”) – including a special reprint of Cohn’s infamous rant against DE in the TNR
3. Hairplug jokes are in.
4. Expect “Biden as a gaffe-machine” to be the narrative here, resulting in SOME comment at some point turning into a massive media frenzy, even if it was no big deal
5. I honestly cannot think of ONE potential McCain VP Biden would not chew up in a debate. I honestly think it is going to be an old hand like Romney or Lieberman. No way they throw Pawlenty or Whitman against Biden.
I know why we are all on this blog late at night, because we are all old motherfuckers who’s wives have been fast asleep since 8 o’clock.
But Mike W, WTF? Get the fuck out of the house and do something. Go bowling. Shoot your guns. Socialize. Dude, grab life by the fucking horns or you’ll become an immense loser like us. Just some friendly advice.

I have things to do in the morning, otherwise I’d be out in Newark right now.
Also, please advice your Republican friends that anytime they bring up the plagiarism thing, the closer they get to having it blown back in their face (cross in the sand, fake Mother Theresa story and so on ).
I would think they would have learned with the elitism thing.
But noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
I hate to agree with DPN. He sounded a little snobby when he said that. I’d say he is an elitist that is just trying to take away your right to bear arms.
I didnt want to bring up the cookbook thing becaue otherwise McCain is goign to launch a slime war of lies against me because “I am attacking his wife”.
I wouldnt want to get McNutcase to get a heart attack over me.
Really wanted to make it to Dead Preznits tonight. Hell, I could walk there if I wanted, but alas, I had something needed to be done at home, plus DV pays me not to show up to those events…something to do with overshadowing.
Not being from Delaware, do you know if is legal for Biden to be on the Ballot for both Senate and VP. I believe it was legal for Lieberman in CT in 2000.
The real issue is, will TNJ have this in their print edition tomorrow morning? Did they jump the gun and go for it? Are we simply going to see “Biden is frontrunner, may be announced as VP cand. today?”
Andrew….the answer to that is no. Even their website is not updated. Unbelievable.

How is the simple act of marrying money “elitist?”
I never thought Kerry was “elitist” simply because he’d married a rich woman.

Coming from the guy who spoke on the “gun show loophole” as if he knew what he was talking about, when he was in fact dead wrong.
