Celia is covers the personalities not the stories.

She likes a corps of politicians who were taking over things around the same time she was coming into her own as a writer and so her ENTIRE output over the past 15 years has been about fluffing up the reputations of people that she thinks are a class of Olympians among us mortals.

For example, Mike Castle. For the past 8 years THE Mike Castle story is that he has sold out Delaware and the centerists voters that he claims to represent by voting with Bush 95% of the time.

How many stories (in eight years) did Cohen file about Castle’s pro-Bush neoCon voting record? Zero.

She stopped being a journalist 15 years before she stopped writing.
How many did she file about what a great guy Castle is? Hundreds.

I am glad you guys didnt fall for it coz i was that close to giving up and get upset. lol

another reason this is brilliant Pandora is that I know many people – me included – that were tepid for Biden at the beginning of the week but as they let the journalists make the case for why it made sense because they wanted to convince themselves they knew, it ended up, well, making sense for me too and I would be excited for Biden when you will remember I wasn’t a week ago.
Go figure.

I’m not sure this announcement is coming tonight. Geez, what a brilliant PR move. How long has this Obama VP watch gone on now? Effing brilliant!

BTW, Dave, I’ve spent the summer in Fenwick. If McCain picks Romney you guys have a BIG problem. I even defended Romney against such religious bigotry, but hey, I’m consistent.

Seriously, it was UGLY. The only Republican – out of approx. 35 – who would vote for a McCain/Romney ticket lives in Boston.
