I think that if Katie Couric comes to Delaware we ought to stage a Delaware Liberal visibility event — no reason why you should have all of the fun, Jason!

That said, the fact Biden is peaking buzz-wise right now makes me think it is not necessarily going to happen.
See last week I believed it because it was perfect timing-wise but under the radar.
But picking the VP that journalists guessed is rarely what happens.

Actually, it happens quite often. The media is not often surprised by VP picks. The only one I can think of is Dan Quayle.

Well, I don’t think anyone was more dumbfounded by that than Dan was.
I think the media was pretty surprised that Dick Cheney picked himself in 2000.

Well, I do doubt that Caroline Kennedy and Eric Holder are VP possibilities.

I wouldn’t be unhappy if Caroline Kennedy picked herself.
She would be the one female pick that Obama could make that the Hillbots would find it really hard to belittle.
Because she’s got even less experience than Mr Obama?
Serious question: While it’s obvious that Delawareans would think that Joe Biden was a great pick, do you really think that such a selection would really energize anybody outside the state?
The most common reaction would be: safe, boring, vanilla, not a real drag on the ticket, but not much help either.
