I have observed Matt Denn personally at many different community meetings over the last 4 years. He usually brings his kids.
I find the character assassination of this man to be reprehensible. Fighting language.

Perhaps …Charlie was counting on getting state wide support by running against the Democrat Senate’s poor performance… fully expecting the closed drawer to become a campaign issue

He would not have had any chance of doing so had Peterson been in that seat……

It shouldn’t have mattered how many candidates there were for pro tem, Copeland should not have delivered any votes for that piece of shit Adams. What they could have delivered was a message to Senate Dems that the old way was not their way, but they chose not to do that.

Contrary to popular opinion and revisionist history, there was only one candidate for Pro Tem, so the choice was easy.

And I wouldn’t recommend starting anything with “according to Dana over at Delaware Watch.”

I’m surprised that no one took on Dave over his comment.

Charlie Copeland fought for change, but each time he was rebuffed by Matt Denn’s friends in the Delaware Senate, who threw the reforms in the desk drawer.

When in fact, according to Dana at Delaware Watch, Charlie Copeland fought against open government by supporting Thurman Adams, and delivering 6 Republican votes towards keeping Senator “Desk Drawer” Adams in charge of the Senate. (His attempts to paint himself as supporting open government pail in comparison to this deed.)
