Hmmm, Pandora, a little class-consciousness going on? (Snark). I am a lowly renter due to the vagaries of divorce, yadda yadda. Have a house in Philly (owned outright), but gave it up for the downright excitement of renting !
Renters probably have more money than those homeowners with the adjustable-rate mortgages do now.
Except for me and the old man. That’s alot of cash.
The real juicy thing here is that all of the donations were for the exact same amount. That is a little odd. But I would wager (not with my own money, of course), that Hess Et Al have their legal bases covered.

They actually each gave that much, which equals a $57000 donation from one middle class family…
