“BREAKING: Senate considering eminent domain override as I write this. The Senate Reading Clerk is (painfully) reading in the Governor’s veto message.”
Way to go John Carney using your tactful political skills to drum up support for an over-ride! Dam he’s good !
UPDATE: Finally someone from the City of Wilmington is taking the floor. Bill Montgomery, Mayor Baker’s Chief Administrative Assistant, is speaking in opposition to the bill. You will recall that no one from the City spoke during the original debate since (my opinion) they knew they had an ace-in-the-hole, and that Minner would veto SB 245.

Please.
Carney makes a fine second choice. In fact, that’s his campaign slogan isn’t it?

Carney favors private property owners losing their rights….this could be YOU or someone you care about.
He better get out from behind Aunt Bea’s apron and weigh (no pun intended) in here the clock is tick, tick, ticking along
