RNC Rags Obama on not Visiting Iraq

Filed in National by on May 30, 2008

[Obama] displays an arrogant certainty gained on the campaign trail. How would Obama make informed judgments in the future when he has not seen the situation in Iraq since the surge began?

So this taunting is supposed to get them what?

McCain has been in Iraq a whole bunch of times (as have a bunch of war enablers) and he has been quite wrong on All Of It, which means that being in country doesn’t seem to help his judgment any.

  3. Von Cracker says:

It’s not like McCain’s traveled there and been outside the Green Zone, and not without being protected by a battalion of troops, armored vehicles, and multiple helicopters hovering above.

And it’s not like McCain gets the straight dope from the people over there either, be it from the Iraqi Gov’t, advisors, or the Military. They will always tell him, or any American politician, what he wants to hear.

Basically, we can get the same info, same feeling, and same eventual expectations from a conference call from DC. Unless McC and Obama want to put their asses on the line, they will never experience the real deal over there.

So once again, we get a stupid, false argument from the truly desperate RNC. Pathetic.
