GO JOE!!

Filed in National by on May 15, 2008

Joe Biden Defends Obama:
“This is bullshit, this is malarkey. This is outrageous, for the president of the United States to go to a foreign country, to sit in the Knesset . . . and make this kind of ridiculous statement.”

“He is the guy who has weakened us,” he said. “He has increased the number of terrorists in the world. It is his policies that have produced this vulnerability that the U.S. has. It’s his [own] intelligence community [that] has pointed this out, not me.”

  4. Brian says:

Von- Aiding and abetting the real Nazi’s is different from apeasement.

  5. Von Cracker says:

    semantics – it’s inherent.

    😉

  6. Truth Teller says:

I just love the fact that the president failed to point out that the Senator he was quoting was a Repub from Idaho

  7. Pandora says:

I love Joe when he uses salty language and then hammers the truth home!

  8. Brian says:

It must have felt good to tell emporer Bush he is full of shit.

  9. Pandora says:

You know the best part? Obama is fighting with old 28% Bush while McCain is sitting on the sidelines nodding his head, like a good little soldier.

  10. Truth Teller says:

It’s no wounder that the President used the term
Nazi after all Prescott Bush and the rest of that family loved them in the 30’s

  11. Al Mascitti says:

Yes, TT, but the Nazis didn’t have any oil, so I doubt this one would hold hands with them.

  12. Brian says:

Al you mean the way we hold hands with the feudal monrachy in Saudi Arabia?

  13. A. Bundy says:

“some people” believe the United States “should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along.”

What is wrong with this statement? Someone tell me please.

  14. Brian says:

He is full of shit. His administration has been negotiating with terrorists since Sept. 11.

  15. Truth Teller says:

Yes Albert isn’t it a shame that those who claim to love america more than the rest of us would sell (or have sold ) this country down the tubes for a tank of gas and obsene profits

  16. Truth Teller says:

Did anyone see Matthews tear that right wingnut up this evening.
I loved it and I am not a fan of Matthews

  17. Brian says:

If you want more insanity Al, click on my name for a story for the mentally impaired. Proving that the only lesson some people learned from Vietnam is that there are no lessons to be learned from Vietnam.

  18. A. Bundy says:

Once again, the hypocrisy on this site is dumbfounding! You are all blowing Biden today, however not too long ago you were destroying him. He is Saint Joe when he is defending the Messiah. Messiah Obama at all costs! However, Biden is a gutless loser, lazy, spineless adulterer screw-up most other days. You people are unreal. Seriously, do you even recognize how two-faced and duplicitous you are?

Do these posts ring a bell?

“Joe Biden Was A Gutless Loser When It Counted”

“Joe Biden Used Tax Payer Money To Facilitate His Adultery”

“Howard Dean to Joe Biden: Enough Already!”

“Holy Joe, acting like he’s working”

    “The Congressional Democrats Screwed Up”

  19. Truth Teller says:

Hey Bundy I noticed that also you are very observent

  20. biden is ripping the president right now on CNN

  21. Von Cracker says:

So it’s ‘either – or” for you, Al?

Piss ya off once and you’re done. Ah..I get it now…

  22. anon says:

, Biden is a gutless loser, lazy, spineless adulterer screw-up

*yawn* …. wake me up when you have a picture of Biden drunk.

  23. liberalgeek says:

Actually, A, check out the story “Joe Biden Used Tax Payer Money To Facilitate His Adultery” it isn’t what it sounds like… Think Guiliani

So the real question is why should we always agree with Joe? When he says something that we agree with, we say so. If he sucks, we say so.

In this very freakin’ thread, you accuse us of always supporting Obama, which is also not true. Do you want us to only cheer for our side or to weigh in as we see fit, based on the current situation? I guess we lose either way.

  24. pandora says:

It’s the old good and evil, you’re either with us or against us argument. And that’s an argument I’m happy to lose.

  25. cassandra m says:

That was a great article. Dems all rolled out quickly and decisively to smack back this new bit of unseemliness from the President of the United States. And props to HRC for joining in the fray. More of this please, guys and girls.

    Lieberman, predictably, is the exception.

  26. Savy Politico says:

    Try this:

    Edwards for V.P.
    Joe for Sec. State
    Hill for A.G.

    I like it!!!!

  27. Truth Teller says:

Edwards couldn’t carry his home state of North Carolina in the last election. As far as AG goes Hill is ok maybe she is just the type who would put Bush and the Veep on trial for their WAR CRIMES

  28. jason330 says:

What an idiot you are Bundy. You crack me up.

    You list this:

“Joe Biden Used Tax Payer Money To Facilitate His Adultery”

as an example of a post that “destroyed” Joe Biden. Did you even read it?

    No.

You kill me with you half-assed bullshit,

  29. Al Mascitti says:

“some people” believe the United States “should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along.” What is wrong with this statement?

What’s wrong with the statement is that Hamas is an elected government. This isn’t Arafat and the PLO. They held an election, just like we wanted, and elected Hamas. We are in no moral position to preach to anyone. Terrorists could only dream of killing the numbers we have killed in the name of freedom. Cripes, you’re so clueless you have me sounding like Liz Allen.

  30. Call It says:

“some people” believe the United States “should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along.”

What is wrong with this statement? Someone tell me please.

What is wrong with it? Hmmm… maybe what’s wrong is the fact that you are even considering what that man’s opinion is on foreign policy. I get supporting your guy. I get that Bush may be a nice dude. I get that you want to support our commander in chief. BUT, the minute you start spewing bullshit about his foreign policy being even in the vicinity of semi-correct, you lose any and all credibility.

Sorry A. No way around this one.

  31. kavips says:

No one can ever support terrorism at any cost…There is no reasonable, logical, moral, ethical, or rational motive for ever supporting terrorism.

I remember an incident where going in to the enemies camp, the terrorists finding no men, who were out in the hills planning their attack, killed every woman and underage child. Those family members were burnt alive, beheaded alive, mutilated, especially the children………

It was a Republican president who signed the order to destroy the village of Wounded Knee.

One should never, never talk to those despicable personages again. 🙂

  32. Al Mascitti says:

Thank you for that one, kavips. The Sand Creek massacre also should not be forgotten. Can you say “genocide”?

But the fact is that just because we call the civilians we kill “collateral damage” doesn’t make it any nicer — except for those who support Bush foreign policy, of course.
