Absurd!

What’s absurd is Clinton’s spin and the way the MSM regurgitates her double standard all over the airways.
It is absurd, aides say, to think that Clinton can overcome Obama’s built-in advantages there, and it sets unfair expectations on her when the possibility of a Clinton victory is broached. It’s a fair point, but possibly irrelevant. It may well be that an upset victory is the only way to unblinker the superdelegates. It might not serve the principles of justice, but it is what it is.
Unblinker the superdelegates? From what? The winner?

I was happy to observe our Senator Carper calling in to Loudell’s newscast with a slam on Clinton-McCain tax holiday hoax.
Unblinkering. Blinder/Blinker Derby Day!

The Super Delegates understand. It’s about the money stupid. Clinton had to lend herself $5M to stay in the race and she’s broke again, or nearly. Obama just keeps printing the stuff. That speaks louder than anything the Clinton campaign can spin.

Rebecca, I agree. Obama also helps down-ticket, never a Clinton strong suit.

Clintons biggest contributors are defense contractors! She looses to Obama on every other industry.

Barack Obama will win the nomination, period. But he’s like the Dallas Cowboys of last season, who ran out to a 12-1 record, securing a first round bye and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Then they lost to the Deadskins, beat the woeful Panthers, and lost to the Beagles, and basically backed in to the playoffs. When their first game came up, against the Giants (whom they had twice beaten during the regular season), they not only lost, but they played badly.
Mr Obama is going to back into the nomination on the basis of the big, early lead he won.

I prefer the term “Foreskins”.
As it goes – Obama’s won the states he should’ve, and HRC the same….how is that backing-in?
Conversely though, would you use a sports analogy for HRC, saying that she’s like the Phillies (most years) with a sub .500 April record, and misses out on the playoffs by a game or two?
