One thing will lead to all the rest. Energy, or lack of it.

Our environment, especially our water supply, our debt, and our occupation of Iraq.
Of course, this list could change depending on who our next President is…
I’m interested in seeing what others think… I just know I’m going to say, “Damn! Why didn’t I think of that!”

1 - Worthless scumbags who will not work consuming the taxes of people who do.
2 - Liberal, socialist and Marxist politicians who suck up to the worthless scumbags in #1, promising to give said worthless scumbags even more of the productivity of those who do work, to suck in their votes.
3 - The
useful idiotscompassionate liberals, progressives and fellow travellers amongst the left blogosphere who enable the politicians listed in #2.8 Dana // May 2, 2008 at 12:41 pm
1 - Muslim fanatics.
2 - Weak-kneed and weak-willed Democratic politicians who tremble at the thought of actually fighting back and think that war and terrorism are properly defended against by using proper police and law enforcement procedures.
3 -
Liberal stoogesConcerned progressives and liberals and leftists who enable the Democrats listed in #2.9 Delaware's Hottest Blogger // May 2, 2008 at 1:09 pm

Buy a dictionary, Dana, actually use dictionary.com - since it appears you don’t know what some words mean….
…the snark-detector is off.
So common sense political thought for the coming years is all about shitting in one’s pants and the second-coming of Stalin.
No mention of the economy, sky-rocketing healthcare, media & energy oligarchies/monopolies, our ever increasing infant mortality rate, lack of educated professionals in areas of math and science, crumbling infrastructure…..do I really have to go on.
So, let’s get this straight once more: Muslims are #1 in your mind…..Ah yes…common sense political thought! Maybe for scared-little boys and girls, but not for grown-ups!
Please tell me you’re joking!?!?
…BTW – wealthier individuals use much more tax-related dollars per year than the poor, so pay your fair share, so quit the projection and blaming the voiceless.
Look it up.

I should preface every post I can make when I am not in agony with the fact that I am on serious painkillers right now….. but my thoughts about our greatest threats are as follows….
In the short term:
1. Food Prices caused by bankers and fake conservatives
2. Fake Conservatives (neo-cons)
2. Economic Mismanagement by Fake Conservatives
3. Fake Democrats (DLC dems)
3. Economic Mismanagement by fake democrats
4. Bill Kristol & Dick Cheney & their spawn
5. John McCain and his little T-rex arms and claws
6. Bankers and fake money
7. Genetically Modified Food & Hillary Clinton or genetically modified food that looks like Hillary Clinton
8. Bill Clinton’s penis or George Bush’s brain
9. Toads with three legs from cancer causing water
10. Revenge of the Klingons for our interference in their intergalactic star league.
In the long term:
All the rest of what is listed above by others. But especially polar bears and Coors light and compassionate fascists. Or those could be short term too, but you get the point.

G Rex, demonstrating a complete lack of ability to understand what a fascist is. If you think flag pins and being vaguely associated with unpatriotic people is the top concern about a presidential candidate, you are a fascist. If you support voter suppression and scapegoat foreigners for domestic economic woes, you are a fascist. If you don’t like the media because they heap criticism upon our president, you are a fascist. If you think intellectuals and homosexuals are destroying “tradition” and “manly virtue”, you are a fascist. American fascists never want to own up to being fascist, because the Nazis were fascists and no one wants to be compared to them. A fascist is a fascist, G Rex - that word does not mean what you think it means.
19 X Stryker // May 2, 2008 at 6:46 pm
And for the record,
1. Energy
2. Food
3. Water
4. Air
5. Fascism
