I can’t believe it!  The press!  YES THE PRESS waded through BUSH’s Bullshit!  Shake and Bake baby!

You see Dumbya was out there again saying that if we had ANWAR well we wouldn’t have high oil prices.  It’s true you know.  Because he said it is.

“They’ve repeatedly blocked environmentally safe exploration in ANWR,” Bush complained to reporters on Tuesday at a Rose Garden press conference. He said oil supplies from the refuge “would likely mean lower gas prices.”

He’s my pResident and I believe him.  Congress is partisan not him….

The Energy Information Administration, which is the Energy Department’s independent analytical arm, estimated that if Congress had cleared Bush’s ANWR drilling plan the oil would have been available to refiners in 2011, but only at a small volume of 40,000 barrels a day — a drop in the bucket compared with the 20.6 million barrels the U.S. consumes daily.

But, Well, If, you see, it’s like this, of course, however, when you look at it like that, then, Well but if we had started drilling in ANWAR we would all be saved and wouldn’t have $4.00/gallon gas and those dirty smelly Arabs wouldn’t be getting our money…

The extra supplies would have cut dependence on foreign oil, but only slightly. With ANWR crude, imports would have met 60 percent of U.S. oil demand in 2020, down from 62 percent without the refuge’s supplies.

So how can we find out how McCain feels about Anwar?

To find out how McCain feels about Anwar… find out his postion before he ran for President, and then flip it! 😉

Not only would we still have $4.00 gas, but you would have paid a premium for that gas via the subsidies that BushCo wanted to give to whoever would drill ANWR.

But what happened to your video, DV? It disappeared….

A great Republican president, Eisenhower, established the ANWR and he did it during a tense time when we were engaged in a cold war with the commies. Many of today’s so called Republicans don’t even know that fact.

Ike also kick started civil rights. The 1964 Civil Rights Act was based on a plan he had his AG draw up….
