Ron Paul Surges in Nevada

Filed in Uncategorized by on April 28, 2008

You have to admit that a Ron Paul action at the Delaware GOP convention would spice things up.

Outmaneuvered by raucous Ron Paul supporters, Nevada Republican Party leaders abruptly shut down their state convention and now must resume the event to complete a list of 31 delegates to the GOP national convention.

Outnumbered supporters of expected Republican presidential nominee John McCain faced off Saturday against well-organized Paul supporters. A large share of the more than 1,300 state convention delegates enabled Paul supporters to get a rule change positioning them for more national convention delegate slots than expected.

If something like this happens in Delaware I don’t expect you’ll be reading about it in the News Journal.

Bottom Line: Even Republicans know that McCain sucks.

And y’all think that Senatrix Clinton should drop out before she’s beaten! John McCain has more than enough committed delegates to secure the nomination, and Dr Paul still won’t quit!

  2. X Stryker says:

McCain could only muster 73% of the vote in PA against Huckabee and Paul. Less than 3/4 of GOP primary voters in PA are on board with frontrunner McCain.

Ron Paul represents a loony portion of the political spectrum that is populated by those who take the writings of Ayn Rand far too literally.

He attracts those who are into guerilla, hit and run politics but are not likely to hang around for the long haul. A crazy-quilt of 200-proof Libertarianism, anarcho-capitalism, and neo-isolationism will attract a following.

Those who have labored in the political trenches are not going to be impressed by the good doctor. In his favor, he does have a day job in a learned profession.
