dang!
AP’s current numbers, which most media sites (including TPM) are showing is …Clinton 1,258,245 54.69%
Obama 1,042,297 45.31%
Isn’t it interesting how they round up Hillary and round down Obama. I remember rounding in elementary school and I don’t think the rules they are using are the right ones…
Official Pennsylvania Elections Results with 99.09% reporting.
That’s Clinton by 8.6%. A single-digit win. I predicted Clinton would win by 8% and gain 12 delegates. So far, I’m within 1% and 1 delegate. I’d say that’s a pretty good prediction, wouldn’t you?
Oh, but CNN and the media are still rounding 54.3 up to 55%. Interesting.
McCain only won 72.7% of the PA GOP vote. That’s pretty weak don’t you think?

Good catch. The media is so pro-Hillary that it is sickening.

There were some cemetaries missed on the north side of Philly and the rest were only counted once

Will someone put these numbers out?
7 RSmitty // Apr 23, 2008 at 10:51 am
looks like it’s dynamic. At this moment (10:50AM), it has 99.44% (is it a bar of Dove Soap?!?!) reporting and:
CLINTON, HILLARY (DEM)
1,237,696 54.6%
OBAMA, BARACK (DEM)
1,029,672 45.4%
so, that’s back to correct rounding of 55-45. I still like your bitching, tho. Keeps you in shape.

We might be out of the prize running cause we went over on our predictions.
Maybe there are hanging chads somewhere.
10 RSmitty // Apr 23, 2008 at 10:58 am
That’s OK. When it comes to this site and non-liberals winning, the package seems to be “lost in the mail” or sent to the wrong address. Just ask Jason, he can tell you all about it.
Still waiting for my prize,
Randy (aka: lickspittle)
P.S.: (to DV) the difference is still only 9.2%, so your bitchiness is still quite valid.
11 X Stryker // Apr 23, 2008 at 11:01 am
By the way, they fixed it because I called them up. 9.2% is still single digits, and I’m still only 1.2% off.

Oh, and McCain only won 72.7% of the vote. That’s a pathetic display of GOP apathy toward their chosen candidate. Obama got over 400,000 more votes than McCain did. 125,000 PA GOP voters would have preferred Ron Paul and and his antiwar agenda. How well does that bode for Mr. 100-10,000 years?
13 RSmitty // Apr 23, 2008 at 11:18 am
X - honestly, if I were in PA, I wouldn’t have bothered, unless I wanted to protest-vote. On that, I would put less emphasis on Obama out-polling him (primarily because the D vote had much, much more at stake), but put more emphasis on your point that 125k still came out to vote for Ron Paul and however many for Huckabee.
